    Martin Luther King Jr. Remote Learning Bell Schedule

    Start and End Time: 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.

    Early Release Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.

     

     

    Directions and Explanation: Elementary Schedule

    • Students have 60 minutes of online instruction a day (screen time).
    • Students will meet twice a day with their Homeroom teacher and once a day with a Specialist (Art/PE/Music/Library).
    • Families can choose to participate in more online instruction with small groups supported by educators.
    • Families can choose to participate in more independent activities provided by educators if they want to limit online time. Examples of Small Group Activities:
    • IEP Services
    • ELL/Tiered Supports/Instructional Support • Social Emotional Learning
    • Movement/Screen Breaks
    • Independent Practice
    • Reading/Writing Groups
    • Math Groups
    • Science Groups
    • Social Studies Groups
    • Adaptive Activities/Project Based Learning

    A consistent, predictable instructional schedule that supports students and families while enabling educators to meet the individual needs of all students. Students who are unable to attend classes in real time will have the ability to access classes and instruction via online lessons later in the day.
